StormSlide Bolsters the Trail Edge |
Designed by the US Forest Service, the lightweight HDPE StormSlide is the modern version of old metal and concrete structures. It's lighter, easier to install, safer for trail users, made of greener materials, and a lot more economical.
Backfill with Native Soil |
Installation is very simple. The StormSlide's patent pending design combines with the backfill itself to prevent hydraulic undermining and damage from bikes, horses and vandalism.

Bob Spears Ensures Proper Grading |

Bob used 3/8" rebar to secure the 5' flume section in place. The bell end of teh flume can be placed at any angle behind the StormSlide face piece. Water is then directed off the trail.
